Save 142 Throckmorton!
Life in Marin, posted by Fran Walker, a resident of the Mill Valley neighborhood, on Nov 17, 2009 at 11:53 pm

My husband and I just returned from the fifth year anniversary roast of Mark Pitta, which was also a fundraiser for the 142 Throckmorton theatre because it's in financial straights, and I must say what a night!! Some of the best comedians in the bay area came to pay their "respects" to Mr. Pitta. Johnny Steele, Doug Ferrari, Will Durst and several other very funny young ladies and "gentlemen". Harry and I donated $25. I hope others will do the same to save this first-class caliber entertainment.

I was curious as to how it went. I was offered a ticket and didn't act quickly enough and ended up not going.

I hear that Dana Carvey, Robin Williams and others were supposedly making appearances.

Anyway, I hope they reached their goal for donations.
