New Auxiliary Lane Opening on Southbound 101
Life in Marin, posted by CalTrans, a resident of another community, on Oct 21, 2009 at 4:49 pm

Thursday morning, October 22, a new auxiliary lane will open on southbound U.S. Route 101 in Marin, between North San Pedro Road and Lincoln Avenue.

The new lane is to the right of the existing on and off ramps. Drivers who wish to enter southbound 101 from the auxiliary lane must move to the left. If they stay in the new auxiliary lane, they will have to exit onto Lincoln Avenue.

The new lane will help ease congestion by increasing capacity and enabling drivers to enter and exit the freeway more easily.
