I haven't had a problem with Comcast internet service being down lately, but I did notice that they increased a couple of charges on my Comcast bill this month - without any notice they were raising rates. They have a license to steal as a cable monopoly and no one seems to regulate them.

I have Comcast basic cable. I had a housesitter for a week who had to call Comcast to see what type of TV service I had. Instead of telling him on the phone we have basic cable, they sent a guy out here to tell him that for $27.99 + tax. And when the guy showed up he said, "why didn't they just tell you that on the phone?".

"They have a license to steal as a cable monopoly and no one seems to regulate them". Where have I heard this before?
