Life in Marin, posted by Caltrans, a resident of another community, on Nov 2, 2009 at 5:36 pm

"Caltrans announced today it will close various lanes on U.S. Route 101 in the vicinity of the Novato Creek Bridge during the overnight hours for bridge repair.

"Starting tonight, November 2, 2009, various northbound lanes will be closed between the hours of 11 pm and 6 am. At least one lane will be open at all times. The schedule will continue throughout the week.

"Starting Monday night, November 12, various southbound lanes will close between the hours of 11 pm and 5 am. At least one lane will remain open at all times.

"The closures will enable construction crews to perform various repairs to the bridge structure. Motorists are asked to remember that fines are

doubled in maintenance and repair zones. Please remember to 'Slow For The Cone Zone.'"
