1. The contest is open to anyone who lives, works or attends school in Marin County. Pacific Sun and Whistlestop employees, contest sponsors, contributors, and their employees or immediate family, are not eligible.
2. Entry forms can be downloaded.
3. One completed entry form per submission must accompany payment. Submit photo as an EMAIL ATTACHMENT to: photocontest@pacificsun.com
Please send one photo per email. The PHOTO TITLE on the entry form must match the FILE NAME of the photo attachment. Also, please make sure
the email indicated on the entry form is the same email from which the entry is sent.
4. Photographs must be submitted in digital format, no print submissions will be accepted. Scans of non-digital photographs will be accepted. All entries
must be saved as RGB files, saved at a dimension of at least 1,600 pixels wide (if the entry is horizontal) or 1,600 pixels tall (if it is vertical) saved at
the maximum quality. Each photo file must not exceed 2MB in size and must be in JPEG format. Photo submissions may be submitted via email or a CD.

A $10 entry fee per submission must be at the Pacific Sun by July 3rd, 2012 otherwise entries will not be included in the judging. Cash or checks payable to Pacific Sun accepted at Pacific Sun office; address below. Youth (16 years or younger) and Older Adults (60 years or older) entry fee is $5 per entry. Limit one entry per category. Photos must have been taken within the last 5 years. Previous winning photos from this contest not eligible.

Entry submission implies agreement of this statement: "This photograph is my original work and was taken in the past 5 years. I understand that the Pacific Sun reserves first publishing and online rights to winning entries and those chosen for exhibition. Judges will use their discretion as to whether an image needs to be recatagorized. Judges decisions are final."

All winners will be notified by July 16, 2012 and invited to a winners' reception. Images published in the Pacific Sun (August 6 and in the August issue of the Whistlestop Express) may be subjected to photo cropping due to space limitations. Images will also be published on Pacificsun.com.
