FRIDAY, NOV. 13

Pathfinder A Viking boy left behind by Norse explorers is raised by Indians. He really stands out in the class pictures. (2007) FX. 9pm.

Ancients Behaving Badly It turns out that even Attila the Hun had trouble with Afghanistan. And he hadn't even heard of Vietnam. History Channel. 9pm.

SATURDAY, NOV. 14

Finn on the Fly An experiment turns a boy's dog into a human. At first it's kind of fun, but nobody is buying the "My dog did my homework" line. (2008) Disney Channel. 7pm.

Con Air Violent convicts break free and hijack a prison transport jet only to be thwarted by Nicolas Cage's chiseled abs. We couldn't help noticing that prison transport jets seem to have more legroom than the airlines we normally fly. (1997) TNT. 8pm.

Thanksgiving Unwrapped The story behind favorite Thanksgiving dishes, including new evidence that the red stuff in canned cranberry sauce was a product of Cold War defense research. Food Network. 10pm.

SUNDAY, NOV. 15

My Unique Family These are Wiccan families, families who live in caves, families with unique genetic deformities. Tune in next year for the follow-ups: My Desperate for Attention Family and I Put My 4-Year-Old in a Balloon. The Learning Channel. 7pm.

The Prisoner In a re-imagining of the 1960s series, a man wakes up in a mysterious village where the other inhabitants are identified only by numbers and all are held captive under constant surveillance. It takes him a while to figure out that he works for Microsoft. American Movie Classics. 8pm.

MONDAY, NOV. 16

Challenge Tonight, the chefs are asked to make buildings made from breakfast cereal. We liked the part where cameras caught Captain Crunch paying off the building inspector. Food Network. 7pm.

Beyond the Valley of the Dolls Just when you think this swinging '60s movie with cross-dressers, drugs, bad psychedelic fashions and lesbians couldn't get any weirder, you find out that Roger Ebert wrote the screenplay. (1970) Independent Film Channel. 7:05pm.

Gossip Girl Blair sets up a "private Lady Gaga concert" for her friends. "Private Lady Gaga concert" cries out to be a euphemism but we haven't figured out yet what it should mean. CW. 9pm.

TUESDAY, NOV. 17

Merry Madagascar The annoying talking animals from the Madagascar movie step up to deliver the presents when Santa crash-lands in the jungle. If your Fisher-Price tea party set shows up covered in lemur feces you'll know why. NBC. 8pm.

Pizza Wars: New York vs. Chicago Left unresolved by the previous administration, another unsettled conflict lands in Obama's lap. Travel Channel. 8pm.

WWII in HD The inspiring story of strong and brave young men who gave their lives so you could enjoy startlingly clear pictures on really big TVs. History Channel. 9pm.

WEDNESDAY, NOV. 18

Broke and Famous Teen star Willie Aames is down on his luck and attempting a comeback, apparently eight wasn't enough. MTV. 6pm.

Destroy, Build, Destroy Teams blow things up and then try to build something new out of the wreckage. In real life they call this process "being married." Cartoon Network. 8pm.

THURSDAY, NOV. 19

Bones A real estate agent finds human remains in a house for sale. Luckily, the body is "close to good schools and shopping." Fox. 8pm.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation This week's murder is committed in a bowling alley. We have a tip for the investigators: The killer might not have been wearing his own shoes. CBS. 9pm.
